The Naga Trinity is an absolute monster for a mouse, as such, any problem that could cause it to stop lighting up is probably permanent and you won’t be able to fix it – unless it’s a software issue of course.

The driver is always the first culprit when it comes to hardware components not working properly. If your mouse driver happens to become outdated for your current PC’s OS, your PC may stop recognizing the mouse, as such, it won’t light up. You’ll need to check your system’s device manager to see the status of the mouse driver – we’ll discuss this in detail in the “How to Fix” section.

  • Outdated Razer Synapse

Having an outdated Razer utility app can be the reason behind your mouse struggles. Simply launch the program, and check for updates to either solve or rule out the possibility of this being the cause of the issue.

If you happen to have been mishandling the device for a while, then chances are you’ve stretched the cable, now part of it is either cut in the wire or in the circuit board.

Similarly, if your USB connection port happens to be having issues has started having issues, you may experience temporary failure in the mouse’s connection. To confirm if it’s a pot issue, you can simply switch ports, however, a damaged mouse cable means your device may be out of commission.

  • Damaged LED Light

Sometimes there’s the case of the LED light inside the mouse going out of commission, causing it not to light up. In this case, you’ll want to contact customer support to get a replacement especially if your warranty is still active.
